Coastal monitoring

The monitoring of coastal erosion is a key point to ponder the interventions to contrast it.

We provide monitoring of beach erosion processes, necessary for an accurate assessment of the extent of the phenomenon. Monitoring can be provided both by direct (GNSS RTK surveys) and indirect methodologies (coastal video monitoring). Video monitoring is also used to estimate wave run-up, important to measure the exposure of coastal structures to storm surges.

We provide habitat monitoring, in particular of Posidonia oceanica meadows, a protected species in the Habitats Directive (92/43 / EEC), also classified as a priority habitat (Habitats Directive cod. 1120).
