Soil Analysis, Geomorphology, and Land Manageme
GeoScape provides technical and scientific services for soil studies, geomorphological analysis, and the monitoring of terrestrial, fluvial, and lacustrine environments, supporting public institutions, universities, and companies in sustainable land planning and management.
Activities integrate pedological surveys, topographic surveys, UAV (drone) aerial photogrammetry, physicochemical soil analyses, and geomorphological studies, enabling a comprehensive understanding of the environmental processes shaping the territory and supporting infrastructure, environmental, and spatial planning interventions.
Soil Survey
GeoScape conducts pedological surveys and soil characterization through the excavation of exploratory pits, drilling, and soil sampling.
Pedological surveying enables a detailed description of soil structure through the analysis of soil horizons, from the surface down to the underlying non-pedogenized lithological substrate, generally to a depth of about 2 meters.
Soil Chemical and Physical Analysis
GeoScape conducts soil sampling and physicochemical analyses for pedological characterization and soil quality assessment.
Analyses include the evaluation of key chemical and physical soil parameters, such as texture, organic carbon, pH, cation exchange capacity, nutrients, salinity, and heavy metal concentrations.
Support for Spatial Planning
GeoScape provides consulting services and spatial analysis for the planning and sustainable management of terrestrial, fluvial, and lacustrine environments.
Activities include:
Assessment of soil quality and suitability (Land Capability / Land Suitability)
Estimation and quantification of soil erosion processes
Geomorphological studies and analysis of fluvial processes
Hydromorphological analysis according to the ISPRA IDRAIM methodology
Monitoring of fluvial and lacustrine environments
Mapping of geomorphological processes using remote sensing, field surveys, and GIS
High-precision topographic surveys using GNSS technology
Territorial surveys using UAV-based aerial photogrammetry
GeoScape also supports public institutions and administrations in the development of protected area management plans, environmental enhancement projects, and territorial impact studies, contributing to the sustainable management of terrestrial ecosystems and natural resources.

Beyond analysis, a vision for the land.
For GeoScape, land is a dynamic system to be understood, monitored, and managed sustainably.
Each project integrates scientific research, survey technologies, and geomorphological knowledge to develop reliable and long-lasting solutions supporting land management.
